Service Technician

• Full time role, Monday to Friday 8am – 4.30pm
• Northern suburbs

A great full time opportunity is available for a Service Technician to join this company who supply mobility aids and assistive technology based in Thomastown.

You will be responsible for servicing, breakdowns and deliveries of mobility aids and technology, ensuring customers receive outstanding service and on time delivery. Training will be provided for the right candidate that enjoys a varied “hands on” role.

Your responsibilities will include, although are not limited to:

• Provide a high standard of product maintenance and repair service to customers either at the customer site or at the inhouse Service Centre
• Attend to breakdowns of mobility scooters or other assistive technology for customers
• Repair and service equipment
• Assembling of mobility aids and equipment
• Carry out daily deliveries and installations to client sites
• Driving 1 tonne van
• General warehouse duties
• Liaise with customers
• Maintain a professional appearance at all times

To be considered for this role you will have:

• Mechanical aptitude with experience using hand power tools
• Experience in a previous mechanical or electrical role is highly desirable
• Enjoy a varied “hands on” role
• Full drivers licence essential
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Mandatory to be triple vaccinated for Covid 19 and have annual Flu vaccination as this is a requirement on client sites such as hospitals and aged care facilities
