Scope:

Our Diversity and Inclusion policy applies to all internal and external stakeholders. Including our employees, customers, and community.

We are committed to promoting a socially inclusive and diverse space at all Staff Australia recruitment offices, job sites, and online.

Our Commitments:

Respect and dignity

Staff Australia is committed to promoting a workplace culture which promotes mutual respect, dignity, and equality amongst all employees, candidates, clients, and stakeholders. Discrimination, harassment, and bias of any form will not be tolerated.

Equal opportunity

Staff Australia works tirelessly to provide equal opportunities for employment, development, and advancement. Recruitment, hiring, promotions, and other employment decisions are made without regard to race, color, religion, gender, disability, age, or any other protected characteristics.

Leading by example

The team at Staff Australia is committed to leading the movement towards simultaneous diversity and inclusion, by fostering an environment where every voice is heard, valued, and respected.

Accessibility for the impaired

Staff Australia is dedicated to the provision of resources and tools which allow individuals with disabilities to perform their job functions and participate fully in their workplace and while visiting our sites.

Staff Australia has a commitment to supporting and engaging with diverse communities. Our team consists of respectable corporate citizens who strive to promote social justice, equity, and inclusion both within our organization and in the broader community.

Continuous Improvement:

Staff Australia is dedicated to continuous improvement regarding our diversity and inclusion policy.

In April 2019, Staff Australia employed a dedicated Social Inclusion Consultant, to ensure we are doing all that we can to increase diversity, work cohesively with non-for profits, government employment programs and other community-based organisations to better support candidates and achieve a more diverse and inclusive workforce.

Since the recruitment of our Social Inclusion Consultant, we have increased our involvement in activities and programs specifically aimed at engaging and providing long term, sustainable opportunities to indigenous candidates, long term unemployed candidates, parents returning to the workforce, candidates with disabilities and candidates who are aged over 50.
