Maintenace Fitter

Are you a skilled Maintenance Fitter seeking a rewarding opportunity? We’re excited to offer a permanent role at our cutting-edge facility in Greenacre. As a trades qualified professional, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our state-of-the-art site.

In this role, you’ll provide a range of maintenance services, including breakdown repairs, planned maintenance, installations, and general upkeep. Working closely with our Maintenance Team, you’ll primarily focus on mechanical maintenance across our manufacturing lines and on-site utilities. Your problem-solving skills will be essential as you efficiently diagnose and repair breakdowns, ensuring minimal downtime.

Key Requirements:

• Ability to work in a high-risk food manufacturing environment with meticulous attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive ‘can-do’ attitude.
• Trades qualification as a fitter, with a restricted electrical ticket (disconnect and reconnect) being advantageous.
• 5+ years’ experience as a Maintenance Fitter in a high-speed packaging environment, preferably in food production/packaging or FMCG.
• Welding and lathe experience is highly desirable.
• Factory/production background with excellent troubleshooting and fault-finding capabilities.
• Flexibility to work within tight time schedules and varying workload demands.
• Understanding of budgets and compliance requirements in a food processing plant, including GMPs and maintenance housekeeping.
