Full-Time Permanent DC Compliance and Training Manager

About the job:
Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive compliance programs and policies within our Distribution Centre (DC) to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
Provide leadership and guidance to DC staff on compliance-related matters, including training sessions and workshops to enhance awareness and understanding.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement training programs tailored to the needs of DC employees, focusing on safety, quality, and compliance.
Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness, making recommendations for adjustments or enhancements as needed.
Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies, managing inspections, inquiries, and reporting requirements.
Stay informed about changes in regulatory requirements and industry best practices, proactively identifying potential risks and opportunities for improvement.
About You:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within a distribution or logistics environment, with a strong focus on compliance and training.
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards relevant to distribution centre operations, such as workplace safety, food safety, and environmental regulations.
Proven track record of developing and implementing compliance programs and training initiatives, with the ability to drive continuous improvement.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage and motivate employees at all levels of the organization.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing compliance issues.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines with a high degree of professionalism and integrity.
