About the Role

Staff Australia is seeking Casual Voice Pickers to work alongside our clients’ team in Horsley Park, NSW. For over 30 years our client has been proudly supplying pet products to the public and vets, either in store or online. This casual position is aimed at supporting our clients’ warehouse operations. The role will commence ASAP, with work scheduled five days a week (Monday to Friday). The selected candidates will join our client’s team with the responsibility for various tasks throughout the warehouse. There is Day and Afternoon shifts available.

What you’ll be doing (but not limited too)

• Accurately voice pick, pack and dispatch customer orders in a timely manner
• Preparing packing material including cartons and boxes
• Printing Labels
• Stacking pallets
• Data collection and recording data
• Waste and rubbish removal
• Cleaning and maintenance of equipment
• Maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment
• Adhering to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Assisting with other general production tasks as required
• Following Workplace Health and Safety procedures

What we’re looking for

• One years’ voice picking and pallet rider experience
• High Standards of hygiene
• The ability to stand for long periods of time and maintain concentration
• Good communication and interpersonal skills (English)
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced team environment
• Able to commit to a full five-day work week (Monday to Friday)
• Able to commit to flexible work hours, sometimes on short notice
• Own transport to and from site
• Forklift Licence is desirable but not essential.
