Van / Truck Driver

Our client based in Thomastown are currently looking Delivery Drivers to join their team that specialises in mobility equipment for hospitals and Nursing homes on an ongoing basis.

No truck licence required – just a normal full Victorian drivers licence

MUST have 3 Covid Vaccinations and a flu shot – this is a requirement from the hospitals and nursing homes deliveries are made to

What’s on offer?

• Day shift 8am – 4pm
• TRUCK DRIVER RATE $35.80
• Thomastown Location for the warehouse, then delivering to Melbourne suburbs
• Ongoing positions available with a view to permanency

Main duties will include:

• Doing deliveries of mobility equipment to various hospitals, nursing homes, elderly homes etc
• Some heavy lifting involved
• Assembly of products at times
• Must be able to work overtime and be flexible with hours

To be successful in this role you will possess the following:

• Previous delivery/Truck jockey experience a bonus
• Must be available 5 days a week
• Must be reliable and willing to help out where needed
• MUST have 3 covid vaccinations and a flu shot – this is mandatory for this role
