Trades Assistant Wanted – Murrarie – $42.50 per hour

Staff Australia are currently seeking an experienced Trade Assistant/Mechanical General Hand. The role involves dismantling conveyor systems and racking inside the warehouse. Site safety, inductions and training will be completed onsite at the start of assignment. Working in Murarrie at a leading manufacturing/logistics company with full-time hours available for the right person.

Shifts: Monday- Friday 6am starts expecting to work 10+ hour days (overtime penalties apply).

Duties will include:

• Using power tools onsite to dismantle equipment
• Maintenance checks
• Completing safe machine shut-downs before commencing work on the conveyors
• Retrieving goods/parts for plant technicians.
• General housekeeping of workshop and warehouse.
• Maintaining a safe workshop environment.

What you will need to have to succeed in this position:

• Someone mechanically minded (Trade assistant etc)
• Pulling conveyors apart
• White Card required.
• Own basic tools (socket set etc) other power tools are supplied on site.
• Steel toecap boots/Hi vis
• Safety Glasses
