Position: Full-Time, Permanent
Location: Blacktown

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of facility operations to meet production goals, including resource management, production scheduling, and team rostering.
  • Lead teams to consistently exceed performance targets, driving continuous improvement through regular performance assessments.
  • Manage dispatches to align with customer expectations and third-party service providers, ensuring strict adherence to corporate policies.
  • Monitor and report on production standards and KPIs, providing insight into any deviations.
  • Ensure high-quality, well-maintained equipment and peripheral machinery to support smooth operations.
  • Maximize warehouse space through effective planning and layout optimization.
  • Procure materials and services following company policies and operational needs.
  • Plan and execute inventory control activities to streamline warehouse operations.
  • Collaborate across departments to maintain compliance with Occupational Health and Safety standards.
  • Recruit, train, and manage staff performance, supporting career growth and development.
  • Uphold facility and staff security, adhering to all relevant policies and procedures.
  • Facilitate regular meetings with management and ensure timely follow-up on critical issues.
  • Enforce internal control policies to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and safety of facilities, including parking and container yards.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, ideally within a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, resource planning, and operational efficiency.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety standards.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with WH&S, IMS, and R2 policies and procedures is advantageous.
