Safety Manager

Join a leading company specializing in installing the world’s best netting systems. We are seeking a dedicated Safety Manager to drive workplace health and safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with legislation and fostering a culture of safety across our operations.

The ideal candidate will be approachable, professional, and a strong communicator, with the ability to influence and engage employees at all levels. This role requires keen observation skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to managing safety systems. Experience in construction or mining industries is highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide safety leadership, direction, and guidance across the organization.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of WHS legislation and ensure compliance.
• Develop, implement, and review safety policies, procedures, and training programs.
• Support supervisors in risk management, incident investigations, and audits.
• Build strong relationships with internal teams, clients, and contractors.
• Lead and develop the Health Safety Representative team.
• Report on health and safety statistics and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in workplace health and safety.
• Diploma in WHS or Cert IV in Workplace Health and Safety required.
• Strong MS Office and database management skills.
• Ability to multi-task, self-manage, and handle sensitive information with discretion.
