Located in Dandenong South, our client is a leading manufacturer and distributor of high-quality products for the trailer, caravan and RV markets in Australia and New Zealand. Known for their top-tier running gear range (axles, brakes and suspension systems) we now have an opportunity for an experienced Production Assembler to join our growing team.

Hours: This role is on day shift6.30am till 3pm with an early finish every Friday at 12.10pm.

Key Responsibilities:

As part of the team, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Assembling various components – axles, brakes and suspension systems
  • Using hand and power tools
  • Following detailed instructions
  • Conducting quality checks to meet high standards
  • Follow all safe work practices to ensure a safe work environment
  • Maintain a clean and tidy work area
  • Working in fabrication/engineering environment

About You

To be successful in this opportunity you will possess the following:

  • Previous experience in a assembly role ideally in a manufacturing environment
  • Possess good mechanical aptitude with understanding of tools, machinery and equipment
  • Manual dexterity and ability to handle materials and components with precision
  • Strong communication skills and ability to understand and follow instructions
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high quality work
