Logistics Transport Administrator

WE ARE HIRING FOR AN EXPERIENCED LOGISTICS/TRANSPORT ADMINISTRATOR

As the Logistics / Transport Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our freight management system. Based at the Greenacre head office, you’ll be responsible for accurately entering data into our systems, coordinating transport documentation, and producing manifests for efficient freight distribution. Additionally, you’ll collaborate across various functions such as receivals, dispatch, pallet control, and customer service to support our operations effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Timely and accurate data entry into our freight management system.
• Coordinating transport documentation and producing manifests for freight distribution.
• Liaising with transport carriers to schedule inbound and outbound consignments.
• Collaborating with shipping agents and freight forwarders to meet import/export timelines.
• Reviewing product expiry date reports and updating changes as required.
• Assisting with process initiatives and contributing to operational efficiency.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role in transport/logistics.
• Strong data management skills with the ability to handle high volumes of information accurately.
• Proficiency in managing Con notes, manifests, and logistic data entry.
• Customer service orientation with a focus on meeting customer needs.
• Experience with AX Dynamics is advantageous.
• Fast and accurate data entry/keying skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Exceptional English communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to build rapport.
