Inventory Controller

Due to sustained business growth, we are looking for an experienced and reliable Inventory Controller/Purchasing Assistant to join their expanding head office team located in Caulfield South.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Plan and execute inventory cycle counts with relevant analysis and reporting
• Provide timely resolution to inventory variance problems through investigation and proactive problem-solving
• Manage stock take schedule
• Raise purchase orders accroding to sales orders and inventory
• Manage local and international freigh and communicate delays in deliveries
• Coordinate with production planning
• Check delivery accuracy against Purchase Orders and Invoices
• Review back-orders and urgent requirements
• Process inwards goods into the system

The successful candidate

To be successful in this role you will possess the following:

• Previous experience in a purchasing / inventory role
• Process driven with strong attention to detail
• High level of communication (oral and written)
• Good time management and organisational skills
• Experience using MYOB would be an advantage
• Ability to work both autonomously and within a team
