Forklift Operator

Staff Australia is currently seeking experienced Forklift Operators to join a well-established, family-owned Australian business in the furniture manufacturing industry. Located in Acacia Ridge, our client is known for crafting fully assembled pieces from recycled hardwood, much of which originates from materials reclaimed during demolition projects of historic sites in Brisbane. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a passionate and hardworking team.

This role is Monday – Friday 7am – 3pm, $33 per hour + potential overtime.

Key Tasks / Responsibilities:

In this position you will be responsible for:

• Operating both high-reach and counterbalance forklifts to move, load, and unload stock.
• Picking and packing customer orders.
• Relocating materials throughout the warehouse.
• Assisting with manual handling tasks, including lifting, and moving timber furniture and components.
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Experience / Required Skills:

To Be Successful, You Will Have:

• Valid forklift licence with proven high-reach and counterbalance experience.
• Availability for overtime, especially during busy periods.
• Experience working in a fast-paced, manual handling environment.
• The ability to work independently and collaborate as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a strong work ethic.
