Forklift Driver

Job Title: Forklift Driver / Customer Service

Location: Dandenong South

Job Type: Casual, ongoing

Shift: Day shift, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm (with occasional overtime)

Hourly Rate: $34.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate counterbalance and reach forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Assist in the loading and unloading of large awnings.
• Perform customer service duties such as answering inquiries, assisting with orders, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Conduct data entry tasks accurately and efficiently.
• Work within the stores area, including order picking and maintaining inventory records.
• Handle general warehouse duties as required, demonstrating versatility.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.

Requirements:

• Proven experience operating forklifts is essential.
• Ability to lift heavy objects as part of the job.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
• Proficient in data entry with attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and perform various warehouse tasks.
• Reliable and able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Flexible to work occasional overtime as required.
