Position status: Full time Permanent

Location: Blacktown

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of daily operations to achieve production objectives, including resource management, production scheduling, rostering, and communication with relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure teams meet and exceed performance targets, assess individual and team performance for continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate dispatches in line with customer expectations and third-party service providers, ensuring compliance with corporate policies.
  • Monitor production standards and report on key performance indicators to management, with supporting narrative to explain deviations.
  • Maintain access to quality equipment and ensure all peripheral equipment is appropriately serviced and maintained.
  • Optimize warehouse space utilization through effective “real-estate” planning.
  • Purchase materials and services required for the facility in line with company policies.
  • Organize, plan, and implement inventory activities, including inventory control and optimization of warehouse space.
  • Liaise with internal functions and ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety Standards.
  • Recruit and train staff, conduct performance management, and foster career development.
  • Ensure facility and staff security, compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
  • Conduct regular meetings and follow up on critical matters with management.
  • Ensure compliance with internal control policies and procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of facilities and container/parking yards.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in leadership role, preferably in tech production or manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of production processes and resource management.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety Standards and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with WH&S, IMS, and R2 policies and procedures is desirable.
