Container Unloaders/Laborer’s Logan and Yatala locations

Our clients are leading industry sectors within warehousing and logistics , we are looking to add to our casual team of Container Unloaders and Laborers due to client requirements. Positions available in Logan and Yatala area.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The role requires people to be fit, healthy and able to exercise sound levels of common sense. Successful applicants will be able to work within a team or autonomously, have a strong work ethic and have a quality approach to all tasks they undertake. We have roles available in Logan and surrounding areas.

Tasks will be focused on unloading shipping containers. This work comprises of:

• Manually unloading products from shipping containers onto pallets
• Using shrink wrap to manually and automatically wrap palletised goods
• Obeying strict safety and compliance protocol that is promoted throughout the warehouse
• General warehouse housekeeping duties
• From $30 per hour
• Hours between 7am -5pm

  SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Experience with container unloading preferred but not essential
• Good communication skills
• Passion for physical work
• Ability to have a quality focused approach to all tasks whilst working within stringent timeframes
• An eye for detail and customer focused attitude
• Preferable but not essential to hold a forklift licence
• Own transport essential
