Warehouse Customer Experience Specialist – Gourmet Food Warehouse

Coburg VIC | $37.50 per hour | Monday-Friday | 7:00am-3:06pm | Temp to Perm

Staff Australia is currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Customer Experience Specialist to join a well-established gourmet food warehouse located in Coburg.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced customer service or administration professional who enjoys working in a busy, fast-paced environment and wants a role with plenty of variety.

Working closely with customers, transport drivers, warehouse staff and internal departments, you will be responsible for managing customer orders from receipt through to dispatch while ensuring a high level of service, accuracy and communication throughout the process.

Your duties will include:

• Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Coordinating orders with the warehouse for picking and preparation
• Preparing and scheduling orders for next-day dispatch
• Managing transport timeslot bookings and following up with carriers
• Responding to customer enquiries via phone and email
• Liaising with customers, transport providers, warehouse and dispatch teams
• Providing face-to-face assistance to transport drivers and customers
• Preparing delivery dockets and CHEP documentation
• Maintaining order tracking spreadsheets and accurate records
• Filing and managing delivery and CHEP documentation
• Providing reception relief, including answering incoming calls and greeting visitors
• Assisting with general administration and operational tasks as required

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience in customer service, administration, logistics or a similar role
• Previous warehouse administration experience – essential
• Strong administration and data entry skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Confident written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• The ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Confidence communicating with customers, drivers and internal teams
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel skills
• A proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Experience within food distribution, warehousing, transport or logistics will be highly regarded.

Previous experience with CHEP, transport booking systems or JD Edwards/other ERP systems would also be advantageous.
