Forklift Driver

Our client is a globally recognised leader in the design and manufacture of innovative material handling and conveyor solutions, servicing a diverse range of industries including food processing, logistics, warehousing, and manufacturing. With a strong reputation for quality, safety, and customer service, they are seeking a motivated and reliable Shipping Clerk / Forklift Operator to join their growing team.

This is a hands-on role that combines warehouse operations, inventory control, and dispatch coordination, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining efficient and accurate shipping processes. Hours:

Day shift – 7:30am-3:30pm Monday to Friday + Must be flexible for overtime as required.  $35.15.

As part of the Warehouse team, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Operating forklifts safely and efficiently, including loading, unloading, and movement of stock throughout the warehouse
  • Preparing, checking, and processing incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Picking, packing, and staging customer orders for dispatch
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records and assisting with stock control activities
  • Receiving and inspecting goods to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met
  • Coordinating freight bookings and preparing shipping documentation
  • Performing cycle counts and supporting inventory accuracy initiatives
  • Ensuring warehouse areas remain clean, organised, and compliant with safety requirements
  • Assisting with general warehouse and logistics duties as required

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A current Australian Forklift Licence (LF)
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, shipping, dispatch, or logistics environment
  • Strong forklift operating skills and a commitment to safe work practices
  • High attention to detail, particularly when handling inventory and shipping documentation
  • Good computer skills and experience using warehouse management systems or RF scanners
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Reliable work ethic with the ability to work effectively within a team
  • Full working rights and availability to work Monday to Friday and go perm
