Reach Forklift Drivers

In this role, you will be responsible for operating high reach forklifts to safely and efficiently move, store, replenish, and retrieve freight within the warehouse. You will assist with loading and unloading trucks, accurately completing stock and freight movements, and supporting day-to-day warehouse operations to ensure parcels and shipments are processed and dispatched on schedule. Adhering to FedEx’s safety standards and maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment will be essential to your success.

Hours:

• Day Shift: 8:00am – 4:00pm
• $38.00 per hour + Super

Key Responsibilities

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Operate high reach forklifts to safely load, unload, move, store, and retrieve freight within the warehouse.
• Load and unload trucks while ensuring freight is handled safely and efficiently.
• Use RF scanners to accurately scan, track, and process freight movements.
• Complete putaways, replenishment, and stock movements in line with warehouse procedures.
• Ensure all freight is accurately labelled, scanned, and staged for dispatch.
• Assist with inventory control and report any discrepancies or damaged freight.
• Work collaboratively with the warehouse team to meet daily operational and dispatch targets.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
• Follow all workplace health and safety policies and FedEx operational procedures at all times.

About You

To be successful in this opportunity, you will possess the following:

• Current LF Forklift Licence.
• Proven experience operating high reach forklifts in a warehouse, freight, or distribution environment.
• Previous RF scanning experience is essential.
• Experience with freight handling, putaway, replenishment, and warehouse stock movements.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-focused workplace.
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to working Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm.
• Full working rights in Australia with the ability to commit to ongoing full-time hours.
