Assembler

Our client, a leading Australian manufacturer of commercial, industrial and specialised doors, is seeking motivated Production Assemblers to join their team. This is an excellent long term opportunity with full training provided and the potential for a permanent position for the right candidate.

Shift Details

7:00am till 3:00pm Monday to Friday

Key Responsibilities

As part of the manufacturing team, your main responsibilities will include:

• Assembly and construction of door frames and fire doors
• Working with timber and laminate materials
• Operating hot press and cold press machinery
• Using edge band machine equipment
• Working with a variety of hand and power tools
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Maintaining high quality standards
• Participating in more advanced joinery assembly

About You

To be successful in this opportunity you will possess the following:

• Experience in timber, carpentry or a hands-on assembly environment (highly desirable but not essential)
• The ability to read and follow specification drawings
• Confidence using hand and power tools
• Strong communication skills
• A positive attitude, willingness to learn and good energy
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality for the customer
• Reliable, switched on and safety focused
• Full working rights in Australia
