About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Appliance Repair & Refurbishment Technician to join a well-equipped, friendly workshop based team. In this role, you’ll repair, refurbish, and maintain domestic appliances, ensuring that every unit leaving the workshop meets strict quality and safety standards.
No two days are the same – one day you may be refurbishing returned stock, the next diagnosing a fault or preparing a customer repair for turnaround.
Key Responsibilities – (not limited to)
Inspect, test, and refurbish returned or used appliances to meet resale or warranty standards
Diagnose and repair customer or dealer appliances efficiently and accurately
Perform component replacements, cleaning, and functional checks
Maintain clear service records and refurbishment logs
Keep tools and the workshop workspace safe, tidy, and well-organised
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the workshop What We’re Looking For Proven experience repairing or refurbishing domestic or commercial appliances (whitegoods, catering equipment, etc.)
Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability – electrical and mechanical
Comfortable reading wiring diagrams and using test instruments
Reliable, methodical, and committed to high-quality workmanship
Team player with good communication and recordkeeping skills
Desirable
Restricted Electrical Licence (or willingness to obtain)
Experience with major appliance brands or refurbishment work
