With over 30 years of experience across cold storage logistics as well as frozen food, parbaked and fresh food manufacturing, our client supplies the infrastructure that allows other businesses to encounter growth. This has been achieved through the provision of temperature-controlled rooms, production processing facilities and transport solutions.

Due to growth of sales we are seeking a protein trader/sales representative for an immediate start. Previous experience with chefs or being an ex-chef, yourself may be highly advantageous due to the food service requirements.

Rather than being stuck in a kitchen this role will see you meeting with new people daily, being on the road therefore initiative and impeccable communication skills are a must!

Main duties will include:

• Maintaining existing customer base whilst focusing on new business
• Achieving sales KPI’s and meeting quarterly targets
• Create and maintain customer pricing and margins
• Identify, develop, and manage new areas of growth
• Working from multiple locations including the main office facility and site visits

The right candidate will present:

• Professional personality and presentation in the workplace
• Proven sales experience within a similar environment
• Ability to demonstrate high level of organisation and forward planning
• Have a valid licence and own vehicle
• Self-motivated and driven
• Work co-operatively in a sales team environment
• Strong ability to learn new internal systems within proven computer skills
