About the Role Due to a recent service expansion, our client is seeking an experienced, motivated Ophthalmology Scrub/Scout Registered Nurse to join the theatre team with flexibility in days available to work.
In this role, you will:
Provide skilled scrub and scout assistance across ophthalmology, gastroenterology, and OMFS procedures
Ensure timely preparation and access to instruments and consumables
Maintain aseptic technique and uphold infection prevention standards
Support surgeons through meticulous instrument handling, swab counts, and procedural assistance
Contribute to NSQHS compliance, audits, and quality improvement initiatives
Foster a respectful, safe, and high-performing theatre culture
About You
Solid Scrub/Scout RN experience
Ophthalmic theatre experience (highly desirable, but not essential)
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A passion for delivering exceptional patient care and working collaboratively
