We are currently seeking hardworking and reliable Labourers to join a busy steel operations team in a physically demanding, hands on environment. This role is suited to individuals who thrive in active workplaces and take pride in putting in a solid day’s work. If you’re physically fit, safety focused, and ready to be part of a tight knit crew, this is an opportunity to secure stable, ongoing employment in a fast paced steel setting.
Hours:
Day shift
- 8:00am till 4:00pm Monday to Friday + Generous Overtime
- $34.37 p/hr
Afternoon shift
- 2.30pm-10.30pm Monday to Thursday, 1.30pm-9:00pm Friday + Generous Overtime
- $38.50 p/hr
About the role
As part of our team, your main duties will include:
- Order picking and packing of various steel products
- Load and unload trucks using overhead cranes
- Accept, inspect and verify incoming steel products and materials
- Stock replenishment and assist with regular inventory checks
- Manual handling including heavy lifting
- General warehouse duties as required
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role you will possess the following:
- Previous experience in a similar role highly advantageous
- Ability to perform physical tasks and heavy lifting
- Strong work ethic and reliable commitment to the role
- Available Monday to Friday ongoing
