In this role, you’ll repair, refurbish, and maintain domestic appliances, ensuring that every unit leaving the workshop meets strict quality and safety standards. No two days are the same – one day you may be refurbishing returned stock, the next diagnosing a fault or preparing a customer repair for turnaround in a fantsitc working team culture
Duties, not limited to
Inspect, test, and refurbish returned or used appliances to meet resale or warranty standards
* Diagnose and repair customer or dealer appliances efficiently and accurately
* Perform component replacements, cleaning, and functional checks
* Maintain clear service records and refurbishment logs
* Keep tools and the workshop workspace safe, tidy, and well-organised
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the workshop
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience repairing or refurbishing domestic or commercial appliances (whitegoods, catering equipment, etc.)
* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability – electrical and mechanical
* Comfortable reading wiring diagrams and using test instruments
* Reliable, methodical, and committed to high-quality workmanship
* Team player with good communication and recordkeeping skills
Desirable
* Restricted Electrical Licence (or willingness to obtain)
* Experience with major appliance brands or refurbishment work
