Staff Australia respects the privacy of it’s clients and staff. We will continue to review our privacy statement on an ongoing basis, Staff Australia is bound by “The National Privacy Principles 21st December 2001.”

Personal Information Held/Disclosure

Staff Australia collects, uses and discloses personal information submitted by people seeking either permanent or temporary is described in our Privacy Statement. Personal information of employees of Staff Australia forms part of our employment records and is the property of Staff Australia. While the National Privacy Principles do not apply to employment records, any employee who has a questions about employment records, is to direct that enquiry to the officer in charge. Staff Australia may be contacted about information regarding your personal information. This will only be provided with your written consent, ie. Requestsfor loan from financial institutions. We may disclose your personal information where we are under a legal duty to do so, including circumstances where we are under a lawful duty of care to disclose information.

Access

Subject to some exceptions that are set out in the National Privacy Principles, you can gain access to the personal information that we hold about you. We do refuse access if it would interfere with the privacy rights of other persons or if it breachs any confidentiality that attaches to that information. If you wish to obtain access to your personal information you should contact our Privacy Co-ordinator. You will need to be in a position to verify your identity. We might impose a moderate charge in providing you access. Our Privacy Co-ordinator would discuss these with you. You should also anticipate that it may take a little time to process your application for access as there may be a need to retrieve information from storage and review information in order to determine what information may be provided.
